Immunisation day

To make her immune
we agreed to deceive,
but the needles of guilt
keep hurting our hearts!

i loved it.. simple but the message shows the pain that both you and your daughter felt on the immunization

Oh yes,
it happens with every parent. My husband used to avoid going inside the doctor's office when the babies got immunized. Once out, he would take over, much to my relief.
Beautifully put.

"needles of guilt" bring such a vivid image to my mind... in fact, that's one of my favorite things about your work. You always illustrate some fascinating painting in my mind through your words... forgive me for leaving you for so long... life swept me away for awhile. I've devoured every one of your latest pieces...

True. The pain, however, is a necessary evil, so as to avoid all the other painfull situations in future :)
